Do you think it better to build separate cooling constructs for each section (assuming that one has to walk through the refrigerated section to access the freezer section) or perhaps just using a few well-placed ventilation holes in the freezer front to get refrigerator temperatures in the refrigerated section? You can build walk - in freezer units in a range of different sizes, with different materials and to suit varied purposes. It is possible to create a small walk - in freezer in one section of a room, or develop an industrial-scale freezer that spans a much larger space, such as a warehouse.
But on a basic level, a standard cubic foot refrigerator and a 2cubic foot walk - in freezer (see below) are remarkably similar. They both depend on insulation, compressors, refrigerant and blowers to function. Many freezers and some walk in. See if you can locate walk in freezer panels for sale.
I have a shed 20Xbuilt from freezer panels walls. They are now 8Xfeet and inches thick. Light enough to handle with one or two people. I dunno where to get the mol maybe you could make it yourself somehow but I think restaurants have walk in freezers.
